Six esteemed alumni co-chair Marlington’s
Cultivating Great Minds Campaign
The Marlington Alumni Association will soon celebrate twenty-five years of helping deserving Marlington seniors and we look forward to continuing that heritage for the next twenty-five years. The Cultivating Great Minds campaign is an exciting opportunity to join forces and rally classes to accomplish together what we cannot do individually.
Marlington provided us and our families with a solid education and a sense of pride in our school and
community. We want to multiply our impact and ask you to partner with us in the coming months to
raise $300,000 to benefit scholarships and academic awards for Marlington students.

He graduated from the University of Akron in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and became President of Robertson Heating and Supply in 1991. Cheryl, a graduate of Alliance High School, is also employed at Robertson. Scott and Cheryl have been married for 21 years and have 5 children, three of whom are Marlington graduates.
Dr. Tom (’68) and Karen (Werstler) Robinson (’69)
Both graduates of Marlington and the University of Mount Union, Tom and Karen have strong ties to the community. Tom graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed an internship and residency in Akron. He joined Atrium OBGYN, Inc. where he has been his entire career. As an elementary teacher and licensed Intervention Specialist, Karen credits her role models at Marlington for
inspiring her to become a teacher. Having met in elementary school, Tom and Karen both credit Marlington for that special opportunity! They have been married for 41 years and have three sons. Believing in the work of the Marlington Alumni Association, Karen served as a member of the Scholarship Committee and Tom is a past president.
