This document defines the policies and procedures for our Mentoring Program. Mentors and Mentees are asked to adhere to these to ensure the program works in the most efficient manner possible.

- The program is designed for ongoing recruitment of applicants of mentors and mentees.
- The program will be administered through the Marlington Alumni Association website.
- Any inquiries by prospective or active participants will be routed and answered by Mentoring Committee individuals.
- Participants are asked to commit to the program for a minimum of 1 year to ensure ample time to garner the benefits.
- Participants are administrator matched on a best efforts basis with the focus on career paths and goals or possibly similar geographic or common interests.
- Administrator screening is based on the input of the application and any follow up dialogue with committee individuals. Please be thorough in completing your application.
- The program is designed for 1 on 1 dialogue through email and/or phone contact. Face to face interaction is not required and up to the individuals.
- Participants are asked to keep the administrators updated on their progress so we can ensure benefits are maximized.
- The administrators are available for supervision or to assist should any concerns arise with mentors or mentees or with the chemistry of their match.
- Information shared, written or otherwise, between participants should be considered confidential and not shared outside the mentor/mentee relationship. Examples include personal information, compensation specifics and other information that would be deemed confidential.
- All participants must adhere to a no-solicitation policy for products and services outside of the concept of mentoring and career path guidance.
- There is no formal training required but applicants will be evaluated on ability to be a successful participant in the program.
- Any information gathered by the committee on mentors or mentees will be kept on file and held as confidential information.
- The Mentoring Committee is here to guide the program for maximum success. Please use us as resource to assist as needed.
